What is a Board Room?
The board room is the area which is used for top level meetings. It can seat up to 48 people (24 can be seated at the table and 24 can be sitting around the perimeter of the walls). This room reflects K-State Olathe’s commitment to meet industry needs in executive meeting space as well as research and training. The room is a more formal decor with basic audiovisual equipment.

The layout of the room needs to be flexible, allowing it to adapt to the intended purpose. The room should also include state-of-the-art technology to allow for the most productive meetings possible. In addition, the ambience of the room must be welcoming and comfortable to encourage participation and encourage exchange of ideas.
A boardroom should be equipped with an ample screen that can accommodate all attendees. It should also be equipped with projection equipment to show presentations and whiteboards to help facilitate discussions.
